This 3 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin is located on 2 wooded acres approximately 7 miles south of Blairsville, GA. Blairsville is situated in Union County which is in the heart of the Chattahoochee National Forest. The area is known for its history, parks, lakes, rivers and scenic waterfalls. Helen, Georgia, is within 20 miles. Atlanta and Chattanooga are within 2 hours. Knoxville, Nashville, Asheville and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge are all day trips.

The first floor has a family room with a stone fireplace, dining area, full kitchen, guest bedroom and a full bathroom. The second floor is an enclosed loft which houses the master bedroom and full bathroom with a separate vanity area. There is a small sitting area just outside the master bedroom. There is a recreation room in the basement and a third bedroom.

The cabin is well supplied with linens and towels and there is a washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, silverware, pots, pans and accessories. There is a garbage disposal, stove, refrigerator and a microwave. Small appliances include a toaster, can opener, blender, coffee maker, frying pan, mixer, electric knife and crockpot.

The cabin will sleep 6 people on the first and second floors. There is a king-sized bed in the master suite, a double bed in the guest room, and a queen-size sofa sleeper in the family room. The basement bedroom has bunk beds and a single bed. There is a second queen-size sofa sleeper in the basement. A total of 11 people can sleep comfortably.

The cabin is easily accessible on paved roads. Parking is adequate for 3 vehicles. A fourth could be accommodated with proper planning for turning space. The driveway is gravel and somewhat steep and tends to become slippery in wet weather.

The cabin sits in a clearing on a heavily wooded lot. It is private and secluded. There is a small flat yard and otherwise uneven terrain with sloping forest. On the deck, you will find a gas grill, porch swing and rocking chairs. The lower porch has a glider and picnic table.

Direct TV is provided with 44 channels. There is a DVD player, VCR and a large selection of VHS movies. There are jigsaw puzzles, books and games. There is a pool table in the basement and an electronic dartboard and Nintendo. There are also horseshoes and quoits. Have a pleasant stay!
